About the Event
The biggest event of the year!
BEASTLY is the largest Scouting and Guiding Event in Basingstoke taking place on Saturday 17th May 2025 at Dummer Down Farm (near Basingstoke), bringing together young people aged 4 to 17 from across multiple districts and groups. BEASTLY is a multi activity day where participants can try out a whole range of activities from Archery to Climbing and Virtual Reality to Zorb Football.
Our Event Zones
Adrenaline
The Adrenaline Zone offers a thrilling mix of activities designed to pump up your excitement. Challenge your aim with shooting and archery, test your precision with crossbows, and conquer heights with exhilarating climbing experiences. For a fun twist, bounce and race on various inflatables. It’s an action-packed area guaranteed to deliver a rush of adrenaline and unforgettable fun.
Everyday Adventure
The Everyday Adventure Zone at BEASTLY provides a blend of engaging and hands-on activities. Learn essential outdoor skills with backwoods cooking and fire lighting, navigate through the tricky spiders web, and gain unique insights with the air ambulance simulator. Enjoy some friendly competition at the nerf shooting range. It’s the perfect zone for experiencing everyday adventures and discovering new skills.
Active
The Active Zone is packed with high-energy activities designed to get your heart racing. Dive into the excitement of Zorb Football, slide into fun with the Super Slider, and tackle the BMX Trail for an adrenaline-fueled ride. Explore the depths with caving and challenge yourself on the obstacle course. It’s the ultimate zone for those seeking dynamic and adventurous physical activities.
Creative
Our Creative Zone at BEASTLY is a hub of imagination and innovation. Sharpen your mind with code breaking and immerse yourself in virtual reality games. Test your wits in the escape room, master the art of circus skills, and unleash your rhythm in the drumming workshop. Add a touch of fun with balloon modeling. It’s the perfect zone for exploring creativity and discovering new talents.
Engagement
Our Engagement Zone is the perfect place to relax and engage with the local community. Grab your favorite sweets and drinks, and shop for souvenirs like scarves and badges, among many other items. Meet special guests from the fire service and police, and learn more about their vital roles. It’s a welcoming area to connect, enjoy refreshments, and explore community offerings.
Inclusion
The Inclusion Zone at BEASTLY offers a serene retreat for young people who need a break from the excitement. This calm, inclusive space is designed to provide a peaceful environment where everyone can relax and recharge. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reflect, and enjoy a quieter atmosphere amidst the lively activities.
Main Stage
The Main Stage at the heart of BEASTLY is the central hub for relaxation and entertainment. Chill out and enjoy performances from some guest acts, take part in promise renewals, and listen to inspiring guest speakers. It’s the perfect spot to gather, unwind, and take in the highlights of the event.
