Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
Your group will send you an invite via your Parent Portal (Online Scout Manager) simply click yes for your child to attend and we’ll do the rest. If you haven’t had this invite from your group, you can use our Participant Registration Form and we’ll get in touch with them.

You can register your child to attend using our Participant Registration Form.

Explorers & Rangers
As our older sections we ask you to get involved in helping us run a part of the day. For half day of volunteering we’re able to give free access to the event for the other half of the day. You can also just attend the evening portion for a small fee. All these options are available via our Volunteer Registation Form.

My child has changed sections or groups
No problem, we understand that many of our participants may move sections between registering for the event and event day.

Volunteer Information

How do I get involved as an Adult?

This incredible event wouldn’t be possible without the support of an amazing group of volunteers. Our core team is already hard at work planning the 2026 event, where we expect over 2,000 participants. But we need YOU to help bring it to life!

Whether you can assist with set-up, run an activity, or support us throughout the day, there’s a role for everyone. We also have some key volunteer positions still available — see the list below to learn more about these specific opportunities.

Please register via our Volunteer Registration Form.

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are not permitted on site during the day. However, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the evening social from 19:00 onwards.

On The Day

Where can I find sanitary bins?

Sanitary bins are available in all toilets labeled as ‘accessible’. These toilets provide more space and a suitable disposal option for sanitary products.

Can anyone use the accessible toilets?
Yes, accessible toilets are designed for everyone to use. However, they are primarily intended for those who need extra space or accessibility features, so please be mindful of priority users.
Will there be a bar at the Volunteer Social in the evening?

No. Unlike last year, there will not be a bar available at this year’s Volunteer Social. We are currently exploring the option of a soft-drinks stand and will share more details as plans are confirmed.

Volunteers are welcome to bring their own alcohol; however, this must not be consumed until the announcement is made on the main stage/screen and should be stored safely during the event. All volunteers are expected to act responsibly and in line with the Scout Association’s Scouting and Alcohol (Green Card) guidance.
