BEASTLY26 – Volunteer & Participant Registration Opens

Registration for BEASTLY26 is now open for both participants and volunteers.

BEASTLY returns on Saturday 9th May 2026 at Dummer Down Farm, and this year marks a special milestone as we celebrate five years of BEASTLY. The team is working hard to make this year’s event extra special, while continuing to improve the event experience, including enhancements to traffic management and volunteer parking .

What is BEASTLY?
BEASTLY is a large-scale activity day offering 80+ activities for young people, all in one place. From high-energy and adventurous activities to creative and traditional camp skills, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Booking & Cost
Participant bookings are now live via OSM. The cost is £10 per young person, payable to your group, helping to cover event running costs. The event is subsidised by Basingstoke East Scouts, Basingstoke West Scouts, and Basingstoke Girlguiding. If you’re outside of these areas the cost is £18.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is strongly recommended. Optional extras such as lunch and event merchandise will be available closer to the event date .

Volunteers Needed
BEASTLY relies on a fantastic team of volunteers to make the day possible. All volunteers must sign up, including leaders attending with their sections. Volunteers can support in a variety of roles, whether staying with their group, helping supervise activities, or assisting with event delivery.

Summer Volunteer Social
The Summer Volunteer Social will return on the same weekend, giving volunteers the chance to relax and celebrate after the event. Dinner and breakfast will be provided for volunteers who help during the day, with options for additional guests available

Section leaders: publish the OSM invite to young people as soon as possible
Volunteers: complete the volunteer sign-up form
